Chicago Police Memorial Foundation (CPMF) is on a mission to honor the lives of fallen heroes and assist those heroes in need. With multiple events planned each year, the pandemic has greatly affected their ability to host any of their events, including fundraisers, galas, and fun runs.
But even a pandemic couldn’t stop them.
Just like everyone else during 2020, CPMF has had to pivot to virtual events. To make sure they could still fund their mission, connect with members and those that need assistance, and continue to drive their vision, they reached out to Absolute Production Services to help bring their vision to life.
For their Virtual Valor Awards, we were able to capture the stories of Chicago Police Officers who had been saved because of vests provided by CPMF as well as honor the fallen. Plus we had special messages from Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown and even a private performance by international recording legend, Richard Marx. What a special night.
“We, at the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, are constantly impressed with the knowledge and support we receive from Absolute Production Services. After pivoting our three largest events of the year from in-person to virtual, APS made sure each one was carried out to be held with the respect and attention they each deserve. We worked with APS staff to make sure we were using best practices and we are incredibly thankful for their help and guidance to make our events just as special as always.”
